Keller Williams Realty St. Pete’s Marian Yon Maguire is Running for Woman of the Year

Luxury Realtor and cancer survivor, Marian Yon Maguire, is running for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Woman of the Year. With a bone marrow donation from her brother, the support of her family and the research from Moffit, Maguire is now a five year cancer survivor.

Maguire’s mother fell victim to the vicious cancer, Maguire fought it and now worries her daughter could discover she has it when she gets her annual blood work done. With research and medications funded through donations, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society are leading the way to blood cancer treatment.

“As Woman of the Year, I feel the need to ask everyone to get involved because I am asking people to donate for my family’s history to help others live in the future,” said Maguire, Realtor with Yes-Homes, a Luxury real estate team with Keller Williams Realty in downtown St. Pete.

Maguire and business partner, Rhonda Sanderford, started their real estate careers with Keller Williams Realty in 2003. Over 3 years ago their team re-aligned with Keller Williams Realty because of its business philosophy and culture.

Maguire’s goal is to raise $20,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society through her Woman of the Year campaign. She is passionate to raise the money so she can help others defeat the disease through aggressive research.
